DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and educational field trip at The Pavilion! We will tour the facility and learn all about ice rinks\, refrigeration\, and important components of ice skating and hockey. After the tour\, students will have the opportunity to take an ice skating and ice hockey lesson as well as have free time to ice skate. Lunch can be added for an additional fee or you may bring your own lunch. \nStudents may be dropped off for this event\, and we will need 2 chaperones to help supervise. Chaperones do not need to purchase a ticket. \nOther adults who would like to skate may purchase a ticket at the rink for $8.95. Siblings may attend as long as the parent is staying the entire time\, and you need to purchase a student ticket for them. \nCost:\n$12.21 (without lunch)\n$16.54 (includes lunch – 2 slices of pizza\, chips\, and a drink) \nRegistration will end Sunday March 29th and no refunds can be given after that date. DESCRIPTION:Spartanburg Elementary and Middle School students are invited for a day of fall fun at Strawberry Hill! \nElementary will take a hayride\, pick a pumpkin\, play on the playground\, and eat ice cream. \nMiddle School will navigate the corn maze and meet back up for lunch and ice cream! \nAll participants can pack a lunch for a picnic after the fun. \nWhen you arrive\, please meet in the farm stand at the counter to pay. You will pay Strawberry Hill the day of the event. When you arrive \n\n$15 for elementary students and parents\n$10 + ice cream money for middle school students and parents.\n\nOnce tickets are purchased\, you will be directed where to go with the group. \nAt least one parent from each family must stay for the duration of the field trip. Parents with only middle school students attending are asked to stay with the middle school group and help monitor a group of middle school students at the corn maze. Parents with both elementary and middle school students will stay with the elementary group and your middle school student will be grouped with another parent who will be at the corn maze.

SUMMARY:GVL: Zip N Slip Snow Tubing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for 2 hours of tubing at Zip N Slip in NC on Thursday\, January 16 from 11-1. We will have the whole snow park to ourselves! Each ticket is only $15 per person due to a HUGE homeschool discount! Children ages 3-5 are free with a paying adult. Children under the age of 3 are not allowed down the slope due to their insurance regulations. The facility has large snow makers so the event will still be on even in an unseasonably warm January day. Bring a change of clothing just in case. After tubing\, they provide marshmallows to roast. They do have chocolate bars for sale or you’re welcome to bring your own goodies to make a full s’more. Feel free to pack a lunch but don’t worry about bringing anything other than water. They have the best homemade hot chocolate (cocoa\, sugar\, milk) and cider in the WNC. The facility takes “all forms of payment.” Payment will be due on site when you arrive. Once we got deep into our research\, we realized you could get better pricing on several locations via the National Park Pass and/or using your homeschool association membership card. We also worked diligently to get group pricing at a resort right near Colonial Williamsburg\, but they would not agree to what we wanted for a large group. Therefore\, everyone is on their own for lodging and meals. To help you with your planning\, we have compiled a list of local hotels HERE. \nHere is our Finalized Itinerary: \nDay 1\, Friday\, 03/15/24 – Travel Day.
