Possible reschedule later! \nStudents will walk the trails to the water with a certified guide to perform visual stream surveys\, chemical tests\, and collect aquatic invertebrates to determine the water quality of the Reedy River. Some of the historic information of Conestee will be covered as well. \n*They do offer the opportunity to wear boots and get in the water during the collection time. By applying the Scientific Method\, we will discuss how heat can be a catalyst in chemical reactions by speeding up the movement of molecules. \nStudents bring: Pencil \n\nMrs. Claudia Simpson   \n\nOverview:  Students will be Building Straw and Paper Towers.  Given a specific amount of teacher provided supplies\, students will create then test the strength of their towers.    \nStudents bring: Pencil\n\nMrs. Anna Humphries : Coral Reef Biomes \n\nOverview: Students will be focusing on aquatic biomes\, specifically coral reefs. DESCRIPTION:UHC Middle and High School students can join us on Friday\, October 11 at Strawberry Hill from 10:30-12:30. We will meet at the Shed at Cooley Farms to go through the corn maze. After the maze we will walk across to the Cafe for ice cream. The cost of the corn maze is $10 per person and ice cream options range from $4-8 per person. Cash is recommended as they charge a service fee for card. Please see the attached link for more information about Strawberry Hill. This event coincides with the UHC elementary field trip to Strawberry Hill\, allowing our Middle and High School students hang out while our Elementary students enjoy their field trip. \nChaperones are needed\, please let us know if you are willing to assist.

Follow these Instructions to print your classes and room numbers.\nMake sure you have checked your JE Inbox to see messages from your teachers concerning anything they want you to bring to orientation.  There is also a message about completing an EdPuzzle assignment in JE to earn a free ice cream treat at orientation.  If you do not complete this by midnight on August 11th\, you will need to pay $1 for your ice cream at orientation.\nWear your UHC ID that you received at your picture appointment.\n\nParents will rotate through the schedule with their students.
