SUMMARY:TR MS - Pavilion Ice Skating Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and educational field trip at The Pavilion! We will tour the facility and learn all about ice rinks\, refrigeration\, and important components of ice skating and hockey. After the tour\, students will have the opportunity to take an ice skating and ice hockey lesson as well as have free time to ice skate. Lunch can be added for an additional fee or you may bring your own lunch. \nStudents may be dropped off for this event\, and we will need 2 chaperones to help supervise. Chaperones do not need to purchase a ticket. \nOther adults who would like to skate may purchase a ticket at the rink for $8.95. Siblings may attend as long as the parent is staying the entire time\, and you need to purchase a student ticket for them. \nCost:\n$12.21 (without lunch)\n$16.54 (includes lunch – 2 slices of pizza\, chips\, and a drink) \nRegistration will end Sunday March 29th and no refunds can be given after that date. Please park in the Parent Parking area on either side of the church Sanctuary building. Gather on the large grassy field next to the Sanctuary and you’ll be directed on where to stand! We will have K3-4th grade students\, plus you parents\, form a tunnel from all the way to the gym for our 5th graders to walk through while you clap and cheer! \nWhat to Bring: Yourselves! Posters\, balloons\, streamers\, etc. are also encouraged as a fun way to recognize their hard work and this incredible milestone of leaving elementary school. Tissues are also encouraged for those misty eyes! \nJust like a normal class day all parents will be asked to wait outside the Gym until all classes have entered the gym. Then parents will be able to enter and pick up their students. Please remember to bring your car tag! After you’ve picked up\, feel free to gather outside the Gym and take more pictures with your student’s friends\, teachers\, etc! All teachers have been asked to stay after for a little while so that pictures can be taken!

We do not want you to miss your 5th grader walking out! \nWhere: If the weather is nice\, we’d love to do this outside! Please park in the Parent Parking area on either side of the church Sanctuary building. Gather on the large grassy field next to the Sanctuary and you’ll be directed on where to stand! We will have K3-4th grade students\, plus you parents\, form a tunnel from all the way to the gym for our 5th graders to walk through while you clap and cheer! \nWhat to Bring: Yourselves! Posters\, balloons\, streamers\, etc. are also encouraged as a fun way to recognize their hard work and this incredible milestone of leaving elementary school. Tissues are also encouraged for those misty eyes! \nJust like a normal class day all parents will be asked to wait outside the Gym until all classes have entered the gym. Then parents will be able to enter and pick up their students. Please remember to bring your car tag! After you’ve picked up\, feel free to gather outside the Gym and take more pictures with your student’s friends\, teachers\, etc! All teachers have been asked to stay after for a little while so that pictures can be taken!

There are bragging rights to be won\, laughs to share\, and memories to be made!  \nSign your K3-5th grade student up for Field Day being held on Friday\, April 10th on the front lawn at Hampton Heights.  \n\nGreen Cedar & Red Oak Field Day will be held from 9:30-11:30 am. Sign up below!\n\nNote:  If your family has students in both one and two day models\, please feel free to sign up all of your Elementary children for whichever one field day event you prefer so you don’t have to come twice.  You can just pick a class for your students to join if they are not part of that model usually. \nNOTE:  a Bubble Foam machine will be one of the field day stations so if you think your child may need a change of clothes\, be sure to bring them! \nBe sure to bring camping chairs\, picnic blankets\, water bottles\, change of clothes (optional) and sunscreen. SUMMARY:GVL MS - Upcountry History Museum Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Come learn about different eras of our South Carolina history! The focus for this field trip will be on World War II\, and students will be able to handle artifacts from the war! We will have classroom learning time as well as time to walk around and experience the museum. The field trip time is from 10:45-12:45pm. \nCost is $14/adult; $11/student; $10/sibling. Participants will pay at the door. Ages 2 and under are FREE.  We need a minimum of 3 chaperones\, but all siblings must have a parent chaperone.\n\nFeel free to bring a packed lunch to eat on the lawn following the field trip!

DESCRIPTION:Live Free Abstinence Education is a 2-MORNING CLASS for middle school students. Students will attend classes both Monday\, April 13 and Wednesday\, April 15\, 2026 from 9:10 to 11:40am. Drop off and pick up in the regular UHC Grace Carline. \nTo learn about this program and the presenters\, see livefreesc.org. You can also preview the curriculum.  \nIn order to hold this course at UHC\, we MUST have 4 or 5 parents attend the event. We need two dads and two moms.
