SUMMARY:TR ELEM Conestee Nature Preserve Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Students will discover similarities and differences of freshwater systems through interactive experiments and observations of the Reedy River and Lake Conestee. \n\nField trips take place outdoors.\nK5-5th grade participants can expect to walk 1-2 miles.\nOnce we all arrive at 9:15\, the group will be split into two groups of 25 students with 5 chaperones each.\nEach chaperone will be in charge of overseeing 5 students during the duration of the field trip.\n\nParticipants will need to pack a lunch as we will break for lunch and end the field trip at 1 pm. \nIf the weather does not cooperate\, the nature preserve will cancel the morning of\, and will do their best to reschedule the trip to another time. \nThis is a drop-off event. After you pick up your child from their chaperone\, feel free to stay and play at the Conestee Nature Playscape to meet other UHC families. This is optional and all younger siblings are welcome at this point. \nTickets are $10.61 per student. Last day to register is 10/1. No refunds will be issued after registration ends.

DESCRIPTION:When: Friday\, October 17\, 2025\nTime: 10:00 am (Arrive early)\nWhere: Happy Cow Creamery (332 McKelvey Road Pelzer\, SC 29669)\nCost: $8.55 per person ages 3 and up\, including adults \nIMPORTANT DETAILS: \n-Our tour will include seeing the cows and the farm via trolley\, as well as the milk bottling facility. After we tour\, we will eat ice cream! The tour is about 1 1/2 hours long. \n-Please have your student wear their UHC t-shirt \n-Tour starts promptly at 10:00 am so arrive early! This is an outdoor tour so dress accordingly and you must wear CLOSED TOE shoes. Use restrooms ahead of tour time and bring water\, if you would like. Happy Cow suggest children take the tour on a full stomach as the farm “SMELLS” are easier to handle that way. \n-Paying older siblings are welcome to join in! \nThere is no cost for siblings younger than 3. \n-There is a picnic area for lunch after the tour\, if you are interested. Parents will need to pay and stay with their children. \n-While this is a Spartanburg Elementary tour\, the other campuses are welcome to join\, if you would like\, since Happy Cow can accommodate a fairly large group. \nLast day to register is 10/10. No refunds after registration closes.

DESCRIPTION:Experience History at this K5-5th grade Greenville field trip to Hagood Mill in Pickens SC. Hagood Mill is a beautifully preserved 1845 water-powered gristmill surrounded by restored cabins\, a blacksmith shop\, and the Petroglyph Center. On this field trip\, your student(s) will rotate between these four educational stations: \nTraditional Native American Games \nHousekeeping Chores of the 1800s \nFarming/Gardening in the 1800s \nNative American Life in the Upcountry \nPlease note that this is not a drop-off field trip. A guardian will need to stay on-site for the field trip.  You will be able to tour the mill\, and there are picnic tables for those who pack a lunch. \nYou must purchase a ticket for each of your K5-5th grade students below to attend this event; younger siblings and parents are free. SUMMARY:GVL Middle School BMW Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:All middle school students aged 12 and above are welcome to join us as we tour the BMW Factory plant and their Zentrum Museum Friday\, October 31st! \nCome experience the creation of BMW cars and experience BMW’s past to the present at the Museum. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: \n\nOnce you register and pay below\, you must click here to print and complete a waiver.  Your student must have the completed waiver with them upon arrival in order to participate. BMW will not permit any student to participate without a completed and signed waiver.\nPer BMW: Everyone must be wearing completely enclosed shoes when they arrive to check in for their tour! (No open toes\, no open heels and no open sides of your feet can be showing. No Sandals\, no slides\, no crocs and no flip flops are allowed on the tour. Plus\, no high-heeled shoes are permitted. We recommend a sneaker be worn for the tour as your group will be walking for approximately 1-mile.\nNo one under the age of 12 will be allowed\, according to their insurance rules. Birthdays will be verified\n\nWhen you register below\, you will have the opportunity to let us know if you wish to be a chaperone.  We will be accepting only two chaperones. Once those two chaperones are confirmed\, they will also need to purchase a ticket. \nThey do not have a good place for lunch\, so please eat a good snack before you come! \nLast day to register is 10/23.  This is a non-refundable event.

SUMMARY:SPT ELEM & MS Fall Fun Day at Strawberry Hill
DESCRIPTION:Spartanburg Elementary and Middle School students are invited for a day of fall fun at Strawberry Hill! \nElementary will take a hayride\, pick a pumpkin\, play on the playground\, and eat ice cream. \nMiddle School will navigate the corn maze and meet back up for lunch and ice cream! \nAll participants can pack a lunch for a picnic after the fun. \nWhen you arrive\, please meet in the farm stand at the counter to pay. You will pay Strawberry Hill the day of the event. When you arrive \n\n$15 for elementary students and parents\n$10 + ice cream money for middle school students and parents.\n\nOnce tickets are purchased\, you will be directed where to go with the group. \nAt least one parent from each family must stay for the duration of the field trip. Parents with only middle school students attending are asked to stay with the middle school group and help monitor a group of middle school students at the corn maze. Parents with both elementary and middle school students will stay with the elementary group and your middle school student will be grouped with another parent who will be at the corn maze.
