DESCRIPTION:This 45-60 minute tour of the chocolate factory will provide students with an in-depth explanation of the chocolate-making process from bean-to-bar. This includes cacao harvesting and processing\, company history and values\, and chocolate from a global perspective. Tours include a classroom portion\, a guided tour through the factory halls to learn how French Broad Chocolates turns beans into bars\, and a guided tasting of chocolate. (Description is from their website). \nWe will all meet at the factory NOT the lounge (please check correct address) at 9:15\, so we can have time to divide into two groups and start promptly on time\, tour is from 9:30-10:30. Be prepared to support their company as a variety of chocolates will be available for purchase after the tour 🙂 \n(Optional) After the tour\, bring your packed lunches and meet up with old and new friends at Flat Rock Park for a picnic and time to play on the playground or use the trails to explore. Bikes or scooters are welcome for the trails\, but not required. You are responsible for your child at all times for the entire day. \nCost is $9.60 per participant. You must purchase a ticket for each person attending. DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to invite our GVL Middle School students to participate in an exclusive field trip experience at Triple Tree Aerodrome.  As a private venue\, Triple Tree Aerodrom\, founded by the Harness family\, is one of the most diverse aviation education hubs in the Southeast.  Enjoy aviators and their planes from around the world gathering at Triple Tree’s 7\,000 foot grass runway.  During the field trip\, students will engage in hands-on learning\, witness STEM principles in action\, and gain a deeper appreciation for aviation’s rich history and global community. \n\nPlease Note:\n\nStudents and chaperones will need to bring a lunch. We will need a minimum of 1 chaperone for every 15 students.\nNo siblings will be allowed to attend. Waiver must be completed in order to attend.**\n\n*** Tickets are $10.61 per person.  Please note – you will not be able to submit payment until you have confirmed you have completed a waiver for each student.  Your ticket is not confirmed until payment is confirmed and your confirmation email is received. Ticket price includes corn maze\, feeding goats\, petting farm animals\, jumping pillow park\, rubber duck races\, ropes course\, giant tricycles\, the cow train\, and even more fun! \nPlease feel free to bring snacks and/or lunch to enjoy while exploring! \nParents will need to purchase a ticket and stay with their student.
