DESCRIPTION:**Please note: signups for the field trip end a few weeks prior to the event (Feb 1) to allow the farm to staff adequately** \nJoin us for a hands-on outdoor field trip at Shipshape Farm\, where students will rotate through several engaging farm-based learning stations. \nDate: Friday\, February 27\nTime: 1:00 PM\nLocation: Shipshape Farm\, 1650 Tigerville Road Travelers Rest\, SC 29690 \nWhat to Expect: \n\nStudents will spend approximately 15 minutes at each station\, rotating through: Goats\, Garden\, Nature Walk\, Chickens\, Big Barn with Bunnies\, and Q&A. 90 minutes total guided time.\nAfter the guided rotations\, we’ll have an additional 30 minutes of unguided time for picnicking and free exploration.\n\nImportant Notes: \n\nThis is an outdoor field trip\, so dress appropriately for the weather. While there is a covered space available\, visitors should expect to feel the weather while on the farm.\nNo nuts or items containing nuts are permitted anywhere on the property.\nLimited picnic blankets are available for use\, but feel free to bring your own blankets.\nThe field trip will only be rescheduled for thunderstorms or lightning\, not for rain.\nThis is not a drop off\, but you’re welcome to send your students with another adult.\n\nCost:\n$10 per student (all attending children ages 2 and up)\n$5 per parent/adult\nTo be paid in exact cash or by Venmo upon arrival to the farm. \nPlease plan to arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and gathering before the tour begins. DESCRIPTION:Online Senior Class Reservation is the process by which rising seniors are able to login to Homebase for one day only in order to reserve spaces in classes for the upcoming year to ensure they have classes needed for graduation. Participating in online senior class reservation does not complete the enrollment process\, and parents are still required to participate in pre-enrollment and attend an enrollment appointment to complete registration for their senior students. Instructions for participating in online senior class reservation is emailed out to rising senior parents in advance of March 2.

Where do animals go when it’s hot or cold? We will explore these and many other questions about how organisms survive in their environment during this exploration.\nThis field trip is completely outdoors so dress accordingly and pack a lunch. Details will be sent out after sign up.\nMoms with younger or older children: You are welcome to have fun at the Nature Preserve and the new Playscape there\, but siblings will not be allowed to accompany students on the field trip.\nWe need 4 to 5 chaperones who do not have siblings.\nSpace for this field trip is limited.
