SUMMARY:SPT Elementary Field Day
DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to an exciting fun filled Field Day for our SPT Elementary students this spring!  Field Day for Spartanburg campus will be Thursday April 18 from 10:00-12:00pm.  Park in Lot D and Field Day will be happening on the big Soccer Fields near Lot D at Church At the Mill!  Students may begin arriving at 9:45.  Parents are encouraged to join in the fun!   Many volunteers are needed to make this event a success.  Each grade is assigned a particular color for the day.  For fun\, students will dress out in at least 1 item of clothing of the color that represents their class. This can be as simple as a shirt or the student can dress head to toe in the particular color.  There will be a prize awarded to the grade with the most participants decorated in their grade’s color.  Each grade will stay together as they rotate through each Field Day activity.  Some games will include water\, but your child should not get completely soaked. Field Day will conclude at 12 pm.  You are invited to stay for a picnic on the grounds.  Every family will bring their own lunch and enjoy fellowship with their friends.  Solar Bears Gourmet SnowBalls truck will be onsite at the conclusion of our event.  Snowballs may be purchased from $3-5 (based on size). You can find this local Inman\, SC business on facebook.   \nThings to know: \n\nParents are required to remain on site for field day and are encouraged to wear grade colors and PARTICIPATE.\nPlease wear athletic footwear\nDon’t forget sunscreen\nSmall snack and water will be provided during field day and kids are encouraged to bring their own labeled water bottles\nLook for ways to volunteer to help make this event possible.\n\nGrade color assignments: \n3k-WHITE              2nd-BLUE \n4k-PURPLE            3rd-PINK \n5k-ORANGE           4th-RED  \n1st-GREEN             5th-NEONYELLOW/GREEN \nNote: Sign ups close at midnight on April 15th\, 2024. \nSIGN UPS ARE NOW CLOSED.
