Due to Hurricane Helene\, many kids are out of school and have lost all their school supplies. We are partnering with a group of local moms to fill that need! The goal is to fill 2\,000 backpacks with books and school supplies by the end of October.  \nHere is where you come in! We would love for you to involve your kids and gather some or all the following items specifically\, new or gently used: \n\nBackpacks\nColored pencils\nCrayons\nPencil boxes/pouches\nPencil sharpeners\nQuality chapter books for 3rd grade and up as we have enough younger aged books\n\nAdditionally\, we desire to place a card from a local child in each backpack. This is a special way to encourage the children in NC who have been through so much. Use this as a special writing assignment for your students one day this week and drop off the cards at your campus. \nYou can drop off supplies and cards at every campus next week\, Oct 28-30.
