SUMMARY:SPT 6th-9th: Spartanburg Walking Tour with the Spartanburg County Historical Association.
DESCRIPTION:Did you know Elvis Presley once performed in Spartanburg? Or there were sit-ins at the Woolworth’s and Kress lunch counters? \nJoin us for the Downtown Walking Tour with the Spartanburg County Historical Organization and learn some interesting facts about the history of our community on Wednesday\, March 27th @ 1:30pm-3:00pm. Cost is $5 per student\, $8 per chaperone. Itinerary as follows: \nITINERARY: \n1:30: Begin Tour – Meet Beside Daniel Morgan Statue in Morgan Square. The group leader should check in\nwith the tour guide and give the final headcount. Any additional people should be prepared to pay with exact\nchange or over the phone via debit or credit card. (Your tour guide will not be carrying a card reader or have\nchange.) \n3:00: Tour Ends – At Morgan Square \n*Will follow the tour with a stop in Spill the Beans or Hub City Scoops! 🙂 \n*Will need to park in the parking garage or available street parking/lots and walk to the Daniel Morgan Statue.
