SUMMARY:SPT 2nd Grade Only- Trip to The National Weather Service Station @ GSP airport
DESCRIPTION:**Second graders only: Our second graders have had so much fun learning about the weather this semester! We have special permission to tour the National Weather Service @ the GSP airport. This field trip is FREE. \nParents please note: Second graders are the youngest they will allow at the facility. Please stay with your child. If you have younger children\, you will need to arrange for child care. If you cannot find childcare for other siblings\, or cannot be there but you have a parent friend in the class who is willing to be responsible for your child\, please arrange that and contact Sara McCormick to let her know. We ask that parents are not responsible for more than their own child + 1 additional child. Plan to arrive a few minutes early as our tour will start at 10am. \nStudents will go through a presentation on weather and safety\, see the operations area\, go through a few weather demonstrations\, and go outside to look at the radar. Students have enjoyed this in the past\, and we are so excited for the opportunity!
