Course Description

This course will provide an introduction to Computer Science with an emphasis in Business. In addition to learning about computer applications including Google applications, students will explore computer topics relevant to business. These will include spreadsheets, encryption, blockchain, crypto, hacking, legality, privacy, an understanding of the internet and how it works, and artificial intelligence.

To be successful in this class:

The student will be required to complete 3-5 hours of homework each week. Access to a working computer and internet is required for homework assignments.

Grades: 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade

Prerequisites:

Keyboarding skills would be helpful.
