Using information from the students’ YouScience results, personal experience and interest, family relations, and various other resources, students are to research 4 potential career opportunities to shadow. Short assignments will be given with a due date for completion in order to keep students progressing at a rate to complete the course objectives. Students will learn business skills needed to enable them to locate job shadowing opportunities, such as professional email writing, phone and voicemail etiquette, networking, and other soft skills. This course is offered Spring semester, and can also be done in a summer “minimester” class May-July.
