Earth Science w/lab CP GVL
Course Description
Earth Science is a rigorous laboratory course focusing on the study of space, and the geologic and atmospheric forces that shape our world. Through experimentation and investigation, students will explore the earth cycles including the geosphere, hydrosphere, and the atmosphere. Students will learn about scientific inquiry, rocks and minerals, geologic time, weather, the ocean, the solar system and the universe. Students will use interactive experiences, higher order thinking, collaborative projects, and real world application through labs and a variety of assessments.
To be successful in this class:
Students must complete the weekly reading assignments, lab write-ups, and homework questions.
