English w/General Literature CP GVL

Course Description

General Literature will expose the students to different styles, genres and forms of literature. Students will do the reading outside of class. In class we will discuss the material, complete different types of activities, and take quizzes on the material. Grades will be based upon class participation, writing assignments, objective tests, reading and vocab quizzes, projects, and homework assignments. The homework and reading assignments for this class are expected to be between 5 to 7 hours a week. Some books will take less reading time than others.
