Course Description

This course will introduce students to coding through a program called Scratch. The students will begin with basic coding skills through computer projects and advance over the year to more advanced levels of coding. This class will not have any homework assignments to complete at home unless a student chooses to work on a project independently.

To be successful in this class:

Student must be able to listen, follow directions, and have all of the required materials.

Grades: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade

Fees: $115

Prerequisites:

Must be enrolled in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade at UHC Greenville- Hampton Heights campus.

• Student must have access to a Google account, either a student’s or a parent’s
• Student must have access to an email account
• Students must bring a laptop or an iPad to use in class (each student must have their own device and cannot be shared among siblings)
