2024-2025 School Year

Yearbook Honors GVL

In addition to the designated class period, Yearbook Students will be working through several lunch periods and are required to attend events outside of school.

Course Description

Yearbook students must be ready to take on the task of creating two complete yearbooks, one for the elementary and one for secondary (middle and high school). They will need to be creative and hard-working, willing to step out of their comfort zones and do whatever it takes to meet deadlines and make a quality product. This will require developing skills in design, photography, sales, time management, and teamwork as well as writing, marketing, and interviewing.

As a member of the yearbook staff, you will be given the privilege and responsibility of capturing moments and memories so that students and their parents will be able to relive them for years to come. At the end of the year, we will not only have an incredible book to show for our efforts. We will also have acquired skills that will help us succeed in college and beyond, and we will have had a lot of fun along the way.

Yearbook Camp and other required events: Yearbook Camp will take place this summer (dates forthcoming) and is mandatory for all staff members (with exceptions made for prior family commitments). During this time, we will bond as a team and plan and strategize for the upcoming year.
