Introduction to Chemistry GVL
Mondays AND Wednesdays NEXT OFFERED 25-26
Course Description
This course is designed to be a student’s first introduction to chemistry and to give them insight on how God designed our world. We will be using two books from the curriculum God’s design for Chemistry and Ecology, Atoms and Molecules and Properties of Matter, 4th edition. The course will cover states of matter, elements, bonding reactions, applications of chemistry, unit conversions, and basic word problems. There will be many hands-on activities and experiments in class to learn the lab process. This is a great way to prepare your student for high school chemistry!
**Summer homework will be assigned in August and will need to be completed by the first day of class.
