Personal Finance Honors SPT

Course Description

This class is an introductory on how to handle your Personal Finances. Students will learn about careers in the digital age, saving, budgeting, investing, pay and benefits, checking and banking, personal decision making, renting and/or owning a home, investing, and more. The purpose of this course is to prepare each student to apply all the topics discussed in real life.

To be successful in this class:

Students should plan to spend 2-3 hours per week outside of class to complete required assignments and projects for the class.

Grades: 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade

Fees: $465

Honors Addendum Summary

Students will complete additional homework problems and test questions.  Students will also complete two projects, books, or presentations per semester.
