Bible Survey GVL

Course Description

This course will trace the outline of the Bible and address the background and thematic elements of each Biblical book.  The purpose is to provide the student a working understanding of the overall plan of God as revealed in the Bible, providing a foundation for further Bible study.

Course Objectives:

  • To trace the overall themes of the Bible
  • To gain a basic understanding of each book in context
  • To be able to articulate both the overall themes and the individual context
  • To fulfill the mandate of 2 Tim. 2:15

To be successful in this class:

To be successful in this class, students will need to attend regularly, participate in class, and show understanding of content through exams, quizzes on readings, and presentations.

Grades: 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade

Fees: $425

Experience:  Served as a pastor for 15 years and addiction counselor for 5+ years
