UHC Career and Trade Connections
Career & Trade Connections is designed to equip high school students with essential skills for success in the workplace while fostering personal growth and Christian character.
Students will engage in:
- Internships to build real-world experience and skill development
- Collaboration and leadership
- Written and oral communication to include resume, emails, job interviews, and business networking
- Faith-integrated discussions on ethics, integrity, and servant leadership in the workplace

CTC Program Mission: To empower homeschool students to discover their God-given purpose through hands-on internship experiences that cultivate character, skill, and service for the glory of God and the good of others.
UHC invites you to partner with us in our Career & Trade Connections Program.
A business partner agrees to:
- Complete business partnership application
- Submit a job description
- Provide an application and interview process for potential students
- Oversee paid internship of at least 10 hours/week for a minimum of one semester
- Complete a brief mid- and end-of semester assessment
A business has the option of continuing the internship or transitioning the student into a regular position.
