Career & Trade Connections is designed to equip high school students with essential skills for success in the workplace while fostering personal growth and Christian character.

Students will engage in:

  • Internships to build real-world experience and skill development
  • Collaboration and leadership
  • Written and oral communication to include resume, emails, job interviews, and business networking
  • Faith-integrated discussions on ethics, integrity, and servant leadership in the workplace

UHC invites you to partner with us in our Career & Trade Connections Program.

A business partner agrees to:

  • Complete business partnership application
  • Submit a job description
  • Provide an application and interview process for potential students
  • Oversee paid internship of at least 10 hours/week for a minimum of one semester
  • Complete a brief mid- and end-of semester assessment

A business has the option of continuing the internship or transitioning the student into a regular position.
