3rd-5th Lego Lab (TR)

Course Description

Lego Lab is a STEAM class that teaches basic computer literacy with hands-on weekly challenges in class that involve designing solutions to problems and coding the design.  Computer skills will also be practiced in class. The instructor will use Lego WeDo 2.0 kits  to provide a fun, hands-on method of exploring the world of science and technology.

To be successful in this class:

Lego Lab success depends on a student’s ability to work effectively with a partner or within a group and ability to follow directions.

Grades: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade

Sections Offered: Early Hour: 8:00-9:00am on Wednesdays only

Meet Corinne Wickline

Education: Bachelor of Science in Multi- Categorical Special Education from Bob Jones University & Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading from the University of Kansas.

Experience: Corinne previously worked in the public school system and taught online from 2009- 2021.

Certifications: Multi- Categorical Special Education and Reading to Succeed.

Homeschool Experience: She began her homeschooling journey in 2021.

UHC Courses Taught: 3rd Grade Geography, 3rd- 5th Grade Lego, and 6th Grade Lego

Began teaching at UHC in 2026.
