Lego PLUS

All 6th grade classes must be taken as a package. This is one of four classes in one of our package options.

Course Description

Lego Plus is an expansion of our traditional Lego class with a focus on the 21st century skills needed in the school and work space. Lego Plus is a STEAM class teaching basic computer literacy with hands-on weekly challenges in class involving designing solutions to problems, coding the design, and team building activities. During class students will be given opportunities to work in collaborative teams as they learn various computer skills, coding reasoning, problem solving skills, and communication skills. Lego Plus students will dive a little deeper into the Google Apps that are used for sharing ideas. The instructor will use kits from Lego Education to provide a fun, hands-on method of exploring the world of science and technology.
