3rd Grade Geography TR
Course Description
Two Day Model:
Geography for 3rd grade will focus on an in-depth study of the 50 states of America using Notgrass Our 50 States. Students will learn geographic terms in relation to the topography of each state, all while practicing map skills. The curriculum includes two lessons per state, which includes facts about the history, physical features, population, and hands-on activities. Notgrass literature selections will also add to the depth of this comprehensive geography curriculum. A $5 supply fee for a binder, pre-labeled dividers, and map packet is included in this course.
Homework will be 1 day per week. See the chart below for homework examples.
To be successful in this class:
Listen and participate in class; complete assigned work on time; and follow instructions.
Grades: 3rd Grade
Fees: Two Day Model: $1,050 for 3rd grade package of 4 classes, plus a $5 Geography class supply fee. Plus other applicable fees as listed on the Tuition & Fees webpage such as: enrollment fee, security fee, portrait/ID fee, etc…

Must be 8 by September 1st

- The Adventures of Paddy the Beaver by Thornton Burgess
- The Cabin Faced West by Jean Fritz
- Soft Rain by Cornelia Cornelissen
- The Story of George Washington Carver by Eva Moore
Other Materials:
Each class has a supply list of required materials parents must purchase and send to class with their student. Supply lists will be available in early summer.
