Lego Robotics for 3rd to 5th Grade:
Students build exciting models using WeDo LEGO® kit featuring working motors, gears, pulleys, and sensors, connect them to a computer, and use an icon-based software program to create and control the robot’s behavior. Classes promote basic physical and computer science concepts, develop creative problem solving, collaboration of ideas, and teamwork.
- In August we will build and program robots that have gears and pulleys! Each class is a new Lego program and robot build.
Dates and times:
- Wednesday, August 12- 2:45pm-3:30pm
- Monday, August 17-2:45pm-3:30pm
- Monday, August 24- 2:45pm-3:30pm
- Wednesday, August 26- 2:45pm-3:30pm
Classes will meet at UHC, Grace Church Taylors Campus, in room 110 (in the small building-portico drop-off and pickup) on the above dates and times.
