WHO: 6th grade students and parents

WHEN: Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10:00-12:00 pm

WHERE: UHC Grace Church Campus (2701 Wade Hampton BLVD, Greenville, 29615)

BEFORE YOU COME:

1. Review the UHC Student Handbook with your parents making sure to familiarize yourself with the following: Student Absence and Tardy Policy, Middle School Grading Policy, Dress Code Policy
2. Complete and Submit the Digital Student Contract.
3. Make sure you have checked your JE Inbox to see messages from your teachers concerning anything they want you to bring to orientation.  There is also a message about completing an EdPuzzle assignment in JE to earn a free ice cream treat at orientation.  If you do not complete this by midnight on August 25th, you will need to pay $1 for your ice cream at orientation.
4. Wear your UHC ID that you received at your picture appointment.

Parents will rotate through the schedule with their students. Parents are also welcome to talk with teachers during the ice cream social.

SUPPLIES REQUIRED  (per family):

Purchase and label each item with your last name:

• ALL families – bring 1 Ream of copy paper per family AND
  
  • Last name A – M: bring 1 box of tissues
  • Last name N – Z: 1 Roll of paper towels

Drop off supplies at the Student Center entrance during any on-campus event or in the car line the first week!
