High School
The UHC high school program is a cooperative for homeschooling families offering a variety of core and elective classes. We do not take the place of a school, but come alongside homeschool families to offer classes that will assist parents as they teach their children.
Our high school courses at UHC have an academic focus to prepare students for their next step after graduation, whether attending college or a technical school, joining the military, or entering the workforce.
Classes are scheduled a la carte, with the option of taking just one class or up to five classes.
- Greenville classes meet at Grace Church in Taylors on Mondays and Wednesdays, with classes scheduled from 8:00 am to 2:35 pm.
- Spartanburg classes meet at The Church at the Mill on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with classes scheduled between 8:00 am and 2:35 pm.
2025-2026 school year course descriptions will be posted on February 28, 2025 at 8pm.

Teachers share content and instruction on co-op days and provide assignments to work on at home for the other days of the week.
UHC uses Jupiter Ed, an online grading system for assignments, grading, report cards, and communication between the teachers, students, and parents.
The course descriptions below list tuition and fees, curriculum that the parent must purchase, prerequisites, a description of the course, and course credit. Students can select the College Prep or Honors option for most courses.
UHC has Dual Enrollment Partnerships with North Greenville University and Bob Jones University.
For potential college athletes, UHC courses are NCAA-approved.
Parents of students with learning differences, please read through our Learning Differences information to see what accommodations may be available for your student.
UHC offers many additional opportunities for high school students to engage and build community on the Greenville campus, such as yearbook, Beta Club, student government, socials, field trips, dances, senior graduation, etc. We are adding opportunities for Spartanburg as we are able.
While parents are not required to be on campus daily, UHC is a homeschool cooperative. Parents are required to serve as Parent Assistants throughout the school year. The number of service hours a parent must complete will depend upon the campus the student attends. Please visit the Parent Assistant page for more information.
Parents enrolling a student in UHC high school for the first time are required to attend a seminar called Navigating the High School Maze. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the high school program. An optional individual consultation is also available at this seminar to provide personalized input for planning.
